Duran Duran is heading to California to headline one of the West Coast's biggest festivals of 2026.

The BeachLife Festival has officially announced this year's lineup, revealing a star-studded slate anchored by the iconic '80s rock band, The Offspring and James Taylor, among other huge names. The festival will return to Redondo Beach, California from May 1-3, 2026.

According to organizers, the three-day event will once again blend classic rock, '80s-era legends and modern favorites, continuing BeachLife's reputation for merging legacy acts with genre-spanning artists. Some of the other musicians on this year's bill include My Morning Jacket, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, The Chainsmokers, Peach Pit and Sheryl Crow, among others.

For Duran Duran, the BeachLife appearance is yet another chapter in this busy period of touring and festival performances. The band, which formed in Birmingham in the late 1970s, rose to global prominence during the era of MTV with massive hits, "Hungry Like the Wolf," "Rio" and "Ordinary World," and they remain one of the most influential acts of their generation.

James Taylor's headlining slot brings a different type of legacy to the beachfront stage. A six-time Grammy winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Taylor's career spans more than five decades, with timeless songs such as "Fire and Rain," "You've Got a Friend" and "Carolina in My Mind." His BeachLife appearance marks one of the festival's most prominent singer-songwriter bookings to date.

The Offspring round out the top line with a jolt of Southern California punk energy, an appropriate choice given the setting. The band broke through in the 1990s with albums like Smash and Americana, helping bring punk rock into the mainstream and selling over 40 million records around the world.

Tickets for BeachLife Festival 2026 are expected to go on sale in the coming months. Additional programming details and daily lineups will be announced closer to the event.
