Brittany Snow is promising even more shocking moments in The Hunting Wives season 2.

The star, 39, confirmed on E! Live from the Red Carpet ahead of the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 11 that the upcoming second season of her hit Netflix series will indeed be "more steamy" than its predecessor.

"Oh, it's just as steamy," she told E!'s Justin Sylvester. "It's more steamy, actually. We've filmed some scenes, we've played some Reneé Rapp. We got into a groove. We're doing it."

She added, "A lot of things happen this season that are very shocking, I will say. It's gonna leave people very angry but in a sexy way."

Snow stars as Sophie O’Neil in The Hunting Wives, which follows her character as she moves to Texas and falls in with an elite group of women led by Margo Banks (Malin Akerman), before they spark a complicated yet passionate relationship.

Season 1 premiered in July and brought in 20 million views in its first five weeks. It also stars Katie Lowes, Dermot Mulroney, Chrissy Metz, Jaime Ray Newman and more.

In September, Netflix announced that The Hunting Wives had been renewed for a second season. The season will be based on an original script after season 1 was based on May Cobb's book of the same name.

Next season will pick up with Sophie and Margo "on the outs," per a logline from the streamer. "But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: Are they the hunters or the hunted?"

In a statement, showrunner Rebecca Cutter said she "can't wait to take the audience on another sexy, twisted, bats--- crazy ride through Maple Brook" in season 2.

Snow is also coming off of a performance in Netflix's The Beast in Me, which earned a Golden Globes nod in the Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television category, as well as two other nominations for performances by leads Matthew Rhys and Claire Danes.

In November, Snow — who also stars in Hulu's Murdaugh: Death in the Family — told PEOPLE she was embracing the "challenge" of having a very busy year after having three major roles debut in a short time.

"This year has just been one of those years where I challenge myself, and sometimes I miss and sometimes I win, and I get to learn from it all," she said, adding, "That's really exciting for me."
