Fans of the classic 1970s action-medical drama Emergency! have a good reason to spring forward this weekend.
FETV is airing a special Emergency! Daylight Saving Time marathon, titled "Saving Time," on Sunday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET. The network’s promo teases that viewers can “turn the clocks ahead—and turn up the action” with a block of episodes celebrating the firefighters, paramedics and doctors who “work around the clock to save lives.”

The series, which originally debuted in 1972, starred Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe as firefighter-paramedics John Gage and Roy DeSoto, the duo at the heart of Squad 51. On the hospital side of things, Robert Fuller starred as Dr. Kelly Brackett. Julie London played head nurse Dixie McCall and neurosurgeon Dr. Joe Early was played by London's real-life husband, Bobby Troup.
Emergency! became one of the defining dramas of the decade and is widely credited with helping popularize paramedics and emergency medical services in American culture.
