The sexual assault case against actor Sebastian Chacon, best known for his work on Prime's 2023 series *Daisy Jones & the Six*, has been discontinued.
"This was a tremendously painful and costly experience that upended my life and my family's," Chacon said in a statement to * *through his representative. "There was never any criminal case, I never admitted to any wrongdoing, and the matter is now permanently closed. Living through this made me realize how damaging the civil process can be, and my heart goes out to anyone navigating a situation like this. I'm focused on moving forward and rebuilding my life and work."

Attorneys for the plaintiffs and defendant signed a stipulation of discontinuance in November, according to a court document filed in December and obtained by *Deadline*. The Supreme Court of New York subsequently ruled that the case be discontinued with prejudice, meaning that it cannot be filed again.**

They filed a civil suit in New York in November 2023, accusing Chacon of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. Two accusers alleged that they had been in relationships with Chacon, while the third Jane Doe plaintiff claimed he had sexually assaulted her in his home when she was 16.
EW has reached out to attorneys on both sides for comment.

Following his legal trouble, Chacon was booted from his agency and lost out on a role in an upcoming movie, per *Deadline*.
Chacon portrayed drummer Warren Rojas on* Daisy Jones*, which costarred Riley Keough, Camila Morrone, Suki Waterhouse, Timothy Olyphant, and Sam Claflin. The story of a fictional band in the '70s was based on the book by Taylor Jenkins Reid. It won two Emmys, for sound and its period costumes, though it was also nominated for acting categories and the overall Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series title.
His other work includes TV series *Penny Dreadful: City of Angels*, *Pose*, *Mr. Robot*, and *Madam Secretary*.**
