The king and queen of mismatch couple dressing has done it again—this time in two different takes on the same footwear trend.
Stepping out for a sweet (and PDA-packed) stroll in Beverly Hills, Hailey and Justin Bieber both embraced the incoming springtime with easy, breezy slip-on slides. Though their interpretations of the prompt couldn't be more different.
For the Rhode founder, the outing called for the Row’s black patent-leather Penelope mules. The style, designed with a rounded square toe and little block heel, has been a favorite of the star’s over the years. (She was recently seen in the shoes on a last-minute holiday shopping trip right before Christmas, where she wore them with an oversize leather jacket.)

Here, the slippers were paired with a monochrome knit look. On top, Hailey wore a vintage long-sleeve top sourced from Shy Online by Dani Michelle. The thin-knit piece featured a deep V neckline and soft ruffle detailing, making for a flirty, feminine look. She matched it with a mesh midi skirt trimmed in fringe, and accessorized with black sunglasses and her Gucci Jackie bag.
For Justin, slip-on slides meant a chance to wear his own design. Walking behind his wife, arms around her waist, the artist was seen in navy-blue Skylrk platforms. He wore the cozy shoes with gray socks, and styled his footwear choice with a teal-blue zip-up sweatshirt, a white T-shirt, and baggy jean shorts.
