The limited-series Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette is shattering records for the FX network.

The series, which takes an inside look at the lives and romance of Kennedy and Bessette, has logged over 25 million hours of streaming for the series' first five episodes. This information was shared by producer Ryan Murphy via Instagram.

The post reads that the series has broken records "as the most-watched limited series ever on Hulu and Disney+." These figures were shared ahead of the "Wedding Day" episode, which aired on March 5.

The Hollywood Reporter wrote that "virtually all of its audience has come on the two streaming platforms (Hulu and Disney+)." The series debuts new episodes each week on FX for those who watch the series via cable.

Two of the film's real-life characters have recently spoken out about how they have been depicted, or weighed in on incidents presented in the dramatization of Kennedy and Bessette's relationship. Both Daryl Hannah, who dated Kennedy for five years, and Bessette's ex, Michael Bergin, have recently made public statements about the series.

Bergin was asked by TMZ if Kennedy was jealous of his relationship with Bessette. He responded, "How would I know?"

Hannah wrote an op-ed for The New York Times, sharing her displeasure about how she was portrayed in the series' early episodes. She wrote, "A recent tragedy-exploiting television series about John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette features a character using my name and presents her as me. The choice to portray her as irritating, self-absorbed, whiny, and inappropriate was no accident."

She added, "The character 'Daryl Hannah' portrayed in the series is not even a remotely accurate representation of my life, my conduct or my relationship with John. The actions and behaviors attributed to me are untrue."

"It’s appalling to me that I even have to defend myself against a television show. These are not creative embellishments of personality. They are assertions about conduct — and they are false."
