According to Fox News Digital, the “Suits” alum judging the show raised questions, asking why a non-chef was invited as a special guest judge. Meanwhile, royal expert and reporter Kinsey Schofield claimed that people didn’t buy her new image.

According to her, several viewers allegedly see a “disconnect” between the duchess’ branding and her “actual experience or authority in this space.” Furthermore, Schofield addressed that Markle’s appearance has reportedly put “Meghan fatigue” to the test.

“That said, there does seem to be a broader sense of Meghan fatigue,” the expert continued. “Every project arrives carrying years of baggage, and that’s a challenge most celebrities simply don’t have. She isn’t launching from a blank slate. She’s launching from a very divided public reputation.”

Meanwhile, another expert, Richard Fitzwilliams, agreed that there have been a lot of “sufferers” from “Meghan fatigue.” According to him, the show invited her to “boost” their ratings. However, the audience’s needs seemed to have changed over time, and they now prefer “authenticity.”

For those unversed, Markle’s phone call with Prince Harry on MasterChef Australia received criticism. Netizens seemingly found it cringeworthy while a celebrity chef slammed the duchess for being “cold and calculated.” They reportedly didn’t appreciate her TV stunt, where Harry FaceTimed his wife mid-filming.
