The Oscars' security firm has addressed Best Supporting Actress nominee Teyana Taylor's claim that a guard shoved her moments after Sunday's Academy Awards ceremony ended.

Following the telecast, footage of Taylor scolding an unidentified individual went viral online, with the One Battle After Another actress shown raising her voice at a "very rude" person she said shoved her moments prior.

In an email statement to Entertainment Weekly on Monday, Security Industry Specialists, Inc. addressed the incident and shared its version of events.

"There was a brief interaction involving Ms. Taylor and a member of our security team during the show last evening," the statement confirms. "Our security personnel were working to manage a crowded area and ensure the safety of all guests."

The statement continues, "During that interaction, there was incidental contact and we regret that the situation escalated. This is not the standard of professionalism we expect from our team, and we have addressed the matter internally to help ensure situations like this do not happen again."

EW has reached out to representatives for Taylor for comment.

After the ceremony, TMZ published a video in which Taylor told the outlet that "it's all good" after the incident.

"Everybody’s having a good time and you know, security was just doing a lot," the 35-year-old said, adding, "I’m proud, I’m happy. There’s nothing to wonder. The first thing people do is definitely make assumptions, but at the end of the day, I just don’t tolerate disrespect — especially when it’s unwarranted and unprovoked."

After One Battle After Another won Best Picture, Taylor was shown running on stage next to director Paul Thomas Anderson, and she smiled as she put her arms around his neck just as they went up the stairs to collect the awards from presenters (and reunited Moulin Rouge! actors) Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor.

After the ceremony, Taylor addressed the headlock in a red carpet interview.

"You know what's crazy? We kind of took it back to Critics Choice [where] I said, 'Listen, we get that Best Picture, I'm going to gift you a helmet. I'm such a sports girl," Taylor said to Variety. "It's that little inside joke. He already knew the headlock was coming!"
