Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have faced harsh criticism as a "pair of grifters" following Meghan's posting of a photograph taken at the Althorp Estate.
The image, which was posted as part of an Instagram gallery showcasing their "summer holiday," showed Prince Harry and Prince Archie holding flowers with Princess Lilibet walking behind them, and has sparked outrage among observers.
The setting of the Althorp Estate has prompted widespread speculation that the photo was captured before the family paid their respects at Princess Diana's nearby final resting place. Frustrated Britons have flooded social media with condemnation of the couple over the image.

One X user commented, "So Meghan Markle really posted photos of them on the way to Princess Diana's grave? Wow. How disrespectful, exploitative, and gross. What should really be a very private and personal family moment she posts on her public influencer platform for the world to see."
Another wrote, "Shameful to dine out on visiting her grave. They are under no obligation to put this out there. Especially for their PR. Papping themselves at Diana's grave is weird, crazy, and extremely poor taste."
Meanwhile, a third X user commented under a video posted by TalkTV of a chat with royal expert Angela Levin, "There is something seriously wrong with these two. The more content they put out, the more despised they become."

Another stated, "They never wanted a private life. They wanted a private life. They wanted a life in the spotlight without rules or regulations," as a fifth simply declared, "They are a vile pair of grifters."
Harry spent nearly a week in the UK earlier this month, while Meghan and their children made a separate trip to the country for a few days, reportedly over security concerns.
Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet maintained a low profile throughout the visit, making no public appearances whatsoever.

Despite this, the family convened with King Charles at Highgrove, representing the first occasion Archie and Lilibet had been in the presence of Charles since the late Queen Elizabeth II's platinum jubilee festivities in 2022.
The encounter has been widely interpreted as a warming of ties between the two parties, with some speculating it could indicate the Sussexes may be eyeing a return to royal duties.
Daily Mail royal editor Rebecca English commented: "I think the Palace do need to be alive to the fact there is a lot of concern that meeting will be used as a way to inveigle themselves back in to this half in and half out role - not maybe in the short term, but in the long term - and I think that is something people in the UK and around the world are deeply concerned about."
