Prince Harry could make up with Prince William and Kate Middleton, but the same can't be said for his wife, Meghan Markle.
Harry has had a fractious relationship with his older brother, William, due to years of institutional friction, building resentment, and an absolute breakdown of trust following highly public family disclosures.
Following Harry and Meghan's departure from the Royal Family in 2020, the couple participated in a bombshell interview with Oprah, during which Harry claimed William and their father, King Charles, were "trapped" in their roles. Comments like these go against standard royal protocols, with The Firm famously sticking to the unwritten maxim: "Never complain, never explain."

Moreover, Harry accused the Prince of Wales of assaulting him in his 2023 memoir, Spare.
In the controversial book, the father of two claimed the interaction happened at Nottingham Cottage in 2019 during a heated argument about Meghan.

Harry alleged William arrived already "piping hot" and began repeating British tabloid talking points, calling Meghan "difficult," "rude," and "abrasive." He then remarked that he tried to get his brother a glass of water to de-escalate the situation, but when he placed it down, William reportedly "grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor."
The Duke of Sussex said he landed on a plastic dog bowl and was left with visible cuts and bruises.
True to their traditional protocol, neither Buckingham Palace nor Kensington Palace issued a public statement on the book's specific allegations.

And it's not just William who Harry and Meghan have spoken about, as they also made some allegations about Kate Middleton.
In their Netflix documentary, the couple claimed that Kate made the Duchess of Sussex cry over bridesmaid dresses, not the other way around, as the press had reported.
"The reverse happened... A few days before the wedding, [Kate] was upset about something pertaining-yes, the issue was correct-to flower girl dresses, and it made me cry, and it really hurt my feelings," Meghan said.
Therefore, it's unsurprising that when polled, numerous Daily Express US readers believed the Fab Four's relationship was "too damaged" to ever make amends.
In a recent poll answered by 2,850 people, 88% claimed that the four royals won't make up. However, there is some hope, as some readers believe that Harry will be able to reconcile with his brother and sister-in-law.
According to the data, four percent of readers feel that Harry and William will make up again, with three percent also believing that Harry and Kate will also reunite.
A total of five percent further stated that they think the Fab Four will all come back together in the future. Yet, when it comes to Meghan's relationships, there is less hope.
Only seven people who took part in the poll believe that Meghan and Kate will make up, and only 14 people believe Meghan and William will reconcile.
