Subsequently, sources said she is preparing a memoir containing secrets of the royals. Now, as per an insider, the Prince of Wales has given a warning to Ferguson in this matter.

According to RadarOnline, Prince William has warned Sarah Ferguson regarding her tell-all memoir. Recently, ex-Prince Andrew was detained on his 66th birthday due to suspicion of misconduct in public office. After hours, he was released by Thames Valley Police but is still under investigation. Subsequently, Ferguson has been receiving scrutiny concerning controversial matters. There have also been reports of the author pitching the royal secrets in a tell-all memoir.
An insider close to royal circles told the outlet that the Prince of Wales has privately confirmed that he won’t accept this decision. They stated, “William’s view is extremely simple – he has said: ‘Sarah needs to face the music.’ That’s the message that has been conveyed in no uncertain terms.”

The source continued, “William’s position is that if there are serious questions being raised, the only place they should be addressed is through the appropriate legal process.” They further added, “He certainly does not think this is something that should be turned into a media spectacle.”
Additionally, William doesn’t feel it can be “used as an opportunity for anyone to tell their version of events in a television interview or a memoir.” The insider further added, “In his view, the focus should be on transparency and accountability, not on controlling the narrative.” The source explained, “That’s why he has been so clear behind the scenes that Sarah Ferguson needs to face the music.”
As per the prince, “the right course of action is for her to cooperate fully with whatever inquiries arise.” Hence, this move would “allow the facts to come out through the proper channels, rather than trying to reshape public opinion through books, documentaries, or paid interviews.”
