After the 2026 Oscars came to an end,* **One Battle After Another** *star Teyana Taylor was captured on camera scolding a fellow attendee after she said he shoved her in the room.

In footage that circulated on social media after Sunday's telecast, the 35-year-old Best Supporting Actress nominee and recording artist was shown reprimanding someone off camera while others stepped between them.

"You're a man putting your hands on a female. You're very rude. Very rude," Taylor said in the clip, though crowd noise muffles some of what she added in the aftermath of the alleged incident.

In the footage, another person standing in front of Taylor turned around and said, "That was uncalled for," before Taylor continued her commentary while speaking to someone else.

Though all of what Taylor said isn't audible, she can be heard telling the person in front of her, "Because he's putting his hands on a female" and "he literally shoved me."

She then stressed that "everybody's having a good time" before advising once again, "Do not touch me, do not shove me."

After the ceremony, TMZ published a video in which Taylor told the outlet that "it's all good" after the incident.

"Everybody’s having a good time and you know, security was just doing a lot," she said, later adding, "I’m proud, I’m happy. There’s nothing to wonder. The first thing people do is definitely make assumptions, but at the end of the day, I just don’t tolerate disrespect — especially when it’s unwarranted and unprovoked."

TMZ published an additional, unconfirmed report alleging that the incident occurred after Taylor attempted to return to the Oscars stage after the ceremony ended, in an effort to rejoin her *One Battle After Another* colleagues for a photo opportunity shortly after the film's win for Best Picture.

After the ceremony, Taylor addressed the headlock

"You know what's crazy? We kind of took it back to Critics Choice [where] I said, 'Listen, we get that Best Picture, I'm going to gift you a helmet. I'm such a sports girl," Taylor told *Variety*. "It's that little inside joke. He already knew the headlock was coming!"
