The Hunger Games instantly became a huge phenomenon when it premiered on March 12, 2012.
Based on Suzanne Collins' 2008 young adult dystopian novel of the same name, the movie not only earned rave reviews from critics and fans alike, but it catapulted the careers of its young stars, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
Following the success of the first film, three additional sequels were released based on Collins' books, Catching Fire (2013) and Mockingjay (split into two parts: Part 1 released in November 2014 and Part 2 in November 2015). Though the original franchise ended nearly a decade ago, the story continues with the prequel films, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (2023) and Sunrise on the Reaping (set to hit theaters in 2026).
In honor of the movie's 14th anniversary, take a look at what the cast has been up to since starring in the blockbusters.
