Travel Problems Over The Next Few Days
If you're traveling into, out of or through the Great Lakes or Midwest this weekend, you might want to reschedule. A growing storm system will likely delay you — especially in places like Chicago, Minneapolis, Kansas City and St. Louis. Road conditions will continue to grow more hazardous through the weekend.
Rain and thunderstorms are expected to become more severe Sunday night, meaning delays are possible in MIami, Atlanta, New Orleans, Raleigh, New York, Detroit and Nashville, in addition to the cities listed above.
This system will continue to impact travel for much of the East on Monday.
However, the good news is that the weather will be much more calm for the rest of next week, including for St. Patrick's Day.
