Value City Furniture and American Signature Furniture stores across the United States are conducting going-out-of-business sales after their parent company, American Signature Inc., announced a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing last November.
According to a Jan. 9 news release from American Signature Inc., the company received bankruptcy court approval for going-out-of-business sales at its 89 remaining U.S. locations.
The inventory for sale, which includes home furnishings, décor, lighting, mattresses and rugs, is being sold at a discount of up to 50%, with all sales being final, the company said in the release.
The sales follow American Signature Inc.'s attempt to find a buyer after filing for bankruptcy in November 2025, but it failed to do so. With sales taking place across the country, here is what customers , including where said sales are happening.
