A fresh rumor suggests another unexpected character could be joining DC Studios’ next Superman film. The report has sparked mixed reactions online, with fans split between excitement and confusion. The latest speculation adds to the growing list of rumored characters linked to Man of Tomorrow, though nothing has been officially confirmed by DC Studios.
Brother Power rumored to appear in Man of Tomorrow
A new rumor from scooper DanielRPK circulating on X (formerly Twitter) claims another obscure DC Comics character known as Brother Power may be headed to Man of Tomorrow, James Gunn’s upcoming Superman sequel. According to the thread, the mysterious figure is described as a “mannequin brought to life” after being struck by lightning, a Silver Age creation from legendary comic book writer and artist Joe Simon with roots in the hippie era. As of now, DC Studios has not commented on the claim, leaving it firmly in rumor territory.

The online chatter quickly turned into a wave of jokes and debate. One fan summed up the rumor by dubbing the film “Mannequin of Tomorrow.” Another questioned the addition, writing, “Never heard of them who asked for this in a Superman Movie.” Others leaned into the absurdity, with one post joking, “If that mannequin shows up I’m bringing popcorn, a vintage tie-dye shirt, and a lightning rod just in case.”

The film is already in production and is scheduled to open on July 9, 2027.
